What is m2/s?
This can be used to quantify the mass transfer between phases, immiscible and partially miscible fluid mixtures. It is used to measure the amount of substance in a system. The unit of mass transfer coefficient is given as the ratio of this to the product of time, area and pressure.
What are Mole Transferred/Moles?
This is the ratio of the number of real trays required, to the number of ideal trays required. It quantifies the difference between maximum theoretical or equilibrium performance and the actual performance achieved.
What is Tray Efficiency?
This chart is used for design of distillation columns with a straight-line graph of the logarithm of vapour pressure against a special non uniform temperature scale. The vapour pressure-temperature lines for many substances intersect at a common point.

What is Saturated Liquid?

What is an elementary reaction?
It is a complex chemical reaction that includes multiple sub-steps. That means; these reactions have a series of steps and different transition states with different intermediates as well.
What is a non elementary reaction?
This type of reactor operates with a continuous feed and product stream, while perfect mixing ensures that the concentration remains uniform throughout the reactor. Its design equation is based on the reactor volume and reaction rate.
What is a Continuous Stirred-Tank Reactor (CSTR)?
